"To God's Glory through the Bible & the Quran ..."
Millions of people are desperate and depressed. Millions more are hopeless. Every
body is looking for a way of life that would enable them to live in peace, joy and
hope. Islam and Christianity have the answers to all the ills that ail us. Yet,
because of centuries of miseducation and ignorance, many Muslims and Christians
are so busy fighting one another, that they have ignored the message of peace and
hope that these two great religions offer to all people. BibleQuran was founded
by Dr. Mohammed Muslim (The Bridge) as a way of reeducating Muslims and Christians to
return to the great paths of piety and of universal brotherliness that their two
religions offer to all people. The Bridge is a lawyer, scientist, musician, logician
and a servant of the most high God. The organization was launched in Agona-Ashanti,
Ghana, where the Bridge was born. What is important, however, is the reason for
the organization. We live in a world of endless debates between Muslims and Christians
about God and the eternal life. Often, these debates end in conflicts to the point
that many innocent lives are unnecessarily lost as a result. While Muslims and Christians
quarrel among themselves, evil and hopelessness triumph. But this cannot be the
way that good Muslims and Christians are taught to spread live their lives. There
is a better way. It is the way of learning and of compassion and wisdom in reaching
out to people about the glory and greatness of God.
The better way is to genuinely try to understand where the other is coming from.
It is important to try to understand what it is that is making people see things
in one way as opposed to another and then to reach out to them from a true appreciation
of their conditions. It is only from the understanding of the other’s history, fears,
hopes and reasons that we can find common ground to interpret our works in ways
that enable us to glorify God and to help one another. It is only when we learn
to be compassionate, patient and wise in the way that we relate to one another, that
we can fulfill God’s call to go tell all about Him in the hills, on the streets,
in our homes and in every place and clime. This is the way of BibleQuran. We seek
to encourage all people to know, to serve and to love our great God, but we do so with
the understanding that it is not us, but God Himself that will guide those who sincerely
seek to serve and to please Him. Knowing that God guides those who genuinely seek
to please Him, all that we do is to make the best work on God available to all so
that in the end everybody can have an opportunity to know what is good and to choose
his or her path.
At BibleQuran, we know that the purpose of our lives is to honour and to serve God.
This is what the Bible and the Quran teach us. The goal of the organization is to
make our brothers and sisters in these two great religions know that properly understood,
Islam and Christianity are the same; and sects of each other. Our ceremonies, our
histories and our traditions may be different. But our God is one; our goal is God
and our path is piety through our different traditions. Either through the Bible
alone or through the Quran alone, each sincere believing person can find the way
to please God. Nevertheless, each religion has something to share with the other.
And divine knowledge is always a good thing. Besides, in a world of so many reasons
to divide, our mission is to find reasons to unite in the name of God and for His
glory. Our mission is to have a true brotherhood of Christians and Muslims worshipping
side by side and helping one another towards piety, kindness and justice for all.
We realize that both Christians and Muslims have a long history of misunderstandings
and quarrels about each other’s religion. Suspicion of the motives of the other
is usually present whenever Muslims and Christians meet. But it does not have to
be like this. At BibleQuran, we are working for unity. But we also recognize that
diversity is a fact of life. God wanted it this way. If God had wanted all of us
to have only one religion, He could have done so. So, as long as we turn our hearts
sincerely towards God and follow the best of what we know, all the glory is to God.
History and ignorance are not our masters. We are in control of our destinies. So,
we can, if we want, change our lives by learning from one another and turning our
hearts and minds towards the presence of the one true God of Christ and the one
true God of the prophet Muhammad. We truly look forward to days to come when without
at all changing religions, Muslims and Christians can worship in the same temples,
eat with one another, marry one another; build hospitals, schools, farms and whatever
else that circumstances require in one true community of the pious.
